Dustin and Brent's Race

(sorry I couldn't get the video to load, slow crappy internet. So I'll try and load it another day.)

Ready or not HERE WE GO!!!

I know I am not a very good blogger, and as far as training goes I had every intention of keeping up on the blogging. But I didn't get to it. But I know a lot of people are wanting to know how the race is going so this is the best I can do.

Dustin and I woke up this morning and went for our final training run. We had to do a short 3 mile just loosen the legs run. The total miles we did during training was 545. It's crazy we have ran so many miles, but we did what we set out to do!

We made most of the drive on Friday and just had 180 to go today. We got to Buena Vista, got checked in, got a whole crap load of free stuff, got our tent set up, went to our first dinner with everyone, met a few new people, had our first meeting with everyone to go over the run and trails and conditions, and then got everything packed and ready to go for tomorrow. We are both super pumped and ready to do! We can't wait to get started. I think we are both a little anxious and all, but being around everyone was exciting. Oh and we saw Dean Karnazes today. He is like the Lance Armstrong of running. He's here running this race. There are actually a bunch of really fast runners here, it's crazy we are running the same race as them. But we are and we're excited and ready to go. I'll try and keep you posted each day if I can find the internet. I'll post pictures and videos. If we don't have internet, I'll post some things from my phone.

We wanted to thank everyone again for their support. We have had so many people tell us they are praying for us and we've had so many people tell us how excited they are for us. We appreciate you all!

Love you all,

Brent & Dustin
